Reserve with a deposit

A deposit holds the piece. The balance waits until the watch is in your hands.

Nobody should send the price of a car to a page they found on Instagram. So we split it. A deposit, paid by card here, takes the watch off the site and puts your name on it. Everything after that happens with the watch in front of you.

What the deposit is

It is equal to the delivery fee — EGP 3,000 for handover in person in Cairo, EGP 6,000 for insured courier elsewhere in Egypt. It is not a fee on top of the price. If you buy the watch, the deposit comes off the balance. It is the only money that moves before you have seen the piece.

What happens, in order

  1. Reserve. You pay the deposit on this site. The reference of the piece is attached to the order, so there is no confusion about which watch is yours.
  2. We confirm. A message from us on WhatsApp, usually within a few hours and never later than one working day. The watch comes off the site the moment we confirm.
  3. Inspect. In Cairo, in person, by appointment — take as long as you want with it. Or delivered by insured courier and opened in front of the courier.
  4. Pay the balance. Bank transfer or in person, after you have examined the watch. Only then is it yours.

If you decide against it

You pay nothing beyond the deposit and the watch goes back on the site. The deposit is not returned in that case, because it has already paid for bringing the watch to you — that is what it is for, and we say so before you pay it.

If the watch does not match its listing in any way that matters — wrong reference, undisclosed replacement part, condition materially worse than described — the deposit is returned in full and the delivery is on us.

Questions we get asked

Can I pay the whole amount online instead? Yes, if you would rather. Message us and we will send you a link. Most people do not, and we do not push it.

Is my card charged the full price? No. Only the deposit. The balance is never taken by card without you arranging it.

Can I reserve more than one piece? Yes. One deposit per piece.

How long does a reservation hold? Seven days from the day we confirm it. If you need longer, ask — it is usually fine.
